How To Be A World Class Speaker [Book Review]
Whether you need to speak in meetings, to groups, or as the ‘face of your business,’ the better you are at speaking, the more successful your speaking will be.
That’s why this month I chose one of my favourite speaking books to review. 'World Class Speaking: The Ultimate Guide to Presenting, Marketing and Profiting Like a Champion,’ is by Craig Valentine and Mitch Meyerson.
If you’ve read the book already, you’ll know it’s one of those ‘hands-on’ type books packed with tools, frameworks and examples that make sense and you can use straight away, whatever type of speaking or presenting you do - plus, it’s dynamite if you’re aim is to get better (and more confident) at actual public speaking.
Author, Craig Valentine really is a 'world class speaker,' having won the coveted Toastmasters' World Championship of Public Speaking award in 1999 (after joining Toastmasters’ only a few months previously). Co-author, Mitch Meyerson is a renowned marketing ninja, having authored 11 books, including 'Mastering Online Marketing' and 'Guerrilla Marketing.'
